Pam

Background Information

Pam is an epic champion among the brawlers. She is a medium ranged brawler. Her weapon of choice is a heal gun. She rapidly shoots scraps of metal at people that do little damage.  She has high health and low damage.  Pam’s ultimate allows her set down a healing charge to heal all allies withing a circle until the healing charge’s health reaches zero.

Primary Attack

“Pam has a straightforward way of dealing with scrap metal: suck it up and blast it at the bad guys!”

Scrap Storm: Pam shoots out chunks of metal extremely rapidly but they do very little damage.  Even if all her chunks of metal hit her target, she does mediocre damage at best.  This ability is mainly to stop enemy brawlers from healing out of combat and to charge up your own ultimate.

Super Ability

“Sometimes you can get dinged up while brawling. Pam can kiss it all better with the help of her healing turret!”

Mama’s Kiss:  This is Pam’s most iconic ability.  She can heal her whole team multiple times and if your team has good map control, a healing charge can always be on the map.  If she gets ahead, she is very hard to throw the lead or win with as she excels at keeping her team alive.  Try to spawn the healing charge somewhere where it will not get quickly destroyed.

Star Power: Mama’s Hug

“Whenever Pam hits enemies with Scrapstorm, she heals herself and nearby friendly Brawlers for 30 health.”

This star power allows for even more healing from Pam.  Even though its not much, she gets some use out of her basic attack which helps.  If you stand right next to someone while using your primary attack, you will heal them which enhances her supporting ability.

Beginner Tips

Use your primary attack to check bushes for enemy brawlers so you do not take a lot of damage.

Place your heal charge behind a wall or in a bush so your enemies will not be able to get to it as easily.

If you have star power unlocked, stay near your allies to proc more healing on them.

You can stand in front of your weaker allies to tank some damage.  You can then place your ultimate ability down to start healing both of you up.

Best Game Modes

The best game mode for Pam are kill based ones.  She excels in the game modes like Smash and Grab in addition to Bounty.  All she needs to do in both these games is to stand back and try to charge up her ultimate.  She is great in these team fight games because she is really good at not letting her team mates die.  The less they die the more stars or gems your team will have which will lead to victories.

Conclusion

Pam resembles a mother figure of the brawling world.  She is a low damage high health brawler that does nothing but heal and supports her team mates. She has no mobility and has to be played carefully.  Although her high health lets you make a few mistakes.  Her ultimate can replenish your defeated team for another fight or increase your pressure by moving the “line of re spawn” with her heal charge.  If you like playing supports and healers in other games, I think Pam will fit your play style.
